Darn dryers.

It's quite frustrating when you have a good set of clothes in your closet, not to mention they might be your favourite (or only set) of good clothes you own. Then one day, they journey from the laundry hamper, to the washer, and into the dryer, on "low heat" setting. At least you think the person who put it in left it on a "low heat" setting. Finally, you find it, iron or do whatever to it and put it on, only to find that your favourite shirt/pants have shrunk by a miniscule percent. Ah, but I should mention that perhaps it isn't as miniscule as one would think, because you can feel that miniscule percent as you see your shirt lifting a bit too much or your pants going high-water on you (you only had the pair for about a few months).

Unless you have the money to buy another bigger or better shirt, you'll have to deal with pulling down your clothing as it's hinting to you that you don't quite fit them nicely as you did a few months ago, thanks to the dryer.

Bittersweet Symphony

'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life.

I discovered a new song I like by The Verve. Yeah, I'm deprived of easily accesible tunages, so I'm a late-bloomer in music appreciation.

Life really is bittersweet. That is a fact. But now that song is stuck in my head and I haven't memorised the rest of the lyrics yet. I'd copy-paste them onto here, but I'm too impatient for the lethargic pc to bring up another window for me.

Kind of restless atm. My left leg is achy for some odd reason. I drank coffee this evening (since I have no work tommorrow morning. yay! which means I won't get paid much. shoot!) and so I'm allowing myself to indulge in a bit of caffiene and stay up 'till midnight. I let my fingers get some exercise with the guitar again, so they're satisfied (Red Hot Chilli Peppers' 'Under the Bridge,' The Feelers' 'Venus,' Goodshirt's 'Fiji Baby,' and a few odds and ends of other pieces). I should've studied a bit but I'm too hyper to sit myself down and focus. I'm getting this feeling that I'm on a "high" but sometime later, I'll get a "low" and things will be horrible for a few. Ever get that feeling that somethings or some moments are too good to be true and you're anticipating something dreadful or depressing? It's something like that. I'm not unhappy, but I'm not as happy as I could/want to be, but nevermind, I sound ungrateful for this undepressing moment.

Hm, tomorrow is taekwondo class, which I haven't attended for two months. I'll be sore, and the unstretched muscles will suffer. I haven't been working on poomses (forms) either, so I need to review. I also need to prepare for red belt testing this month, hopefully. Oh freak. I also need to pay a $30 fee for it and even though I have a job right now, it's not enough to fund since I'm trying to save up for school, bleh.

Other random stuff atm:
-Haircut. Major. Soon. ~ $18
-Fitted lenses for new frames ~ $116
-New set of contacts ~ $70
-Pay back rents for borrowing 7,200 Yen for new frames ~ $70
___
Total ~ $274

You're a slave to money then you die. I flicking can't remember the exact line, but a slight truth resonates. Better hit the pillow before I expound something utterly weird or dorky on here :P

A bit of nostaliga.

I have memories of my baby-dog now and then even though it's been a little over a year since we left Germany, but for the sake of wanting something to post (and because I find b/w photos complementing to my green-scheme blog template), I'm posting this in memory of Guadalupe (Lupe). She would be about 3 years old by now.

Can collection or just junk

I hope this doesn't turn into another worthless collection... >_>

The cans are cute-looking though.

Tibits of relevant dialogue:
Remey says:
I've been drinking coffee
canned kind
just to try it out
usually it's cold

Steph says:
canned
coffee

Remey says:
yes.
everywhere.
[Rem pretends to ramble on about different flavours]

Steph says:
it sounds disgusting
lol

Remey says:
Yeah, I know ;)

Sake

Pronounced "saki."
Dad said they used Jasmine rice, the same brand of rice that we tend to buy for meals. We could make our own sake, heh heh...

Bottling Factory in Okinawa

Disclaimer: I didn't go here, but Dad did, so it's his pics. However, I thought to just provide some visuals for the sake of "updating" since my normal life doesn't have much to update about :P
