Linus and current events

You know, I think I've found a new teddy bear. Scratch out the image of a fluffy, button-eyed toy. I'm referring to the (re)newly-found comfort of having headphones on while I'm working at the computer- and not one decible of tunes is playing. I suppose I find security in having warm ears or something, but whether or not it's my way of pulling a "Linus", I find it interesting enough to mention such an oddity. /shrug.

Currently, I'm reading "Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Tuss. I haven't finished it, but so far I've found the book rather amusing in that British sort of way.

Also, typhoon season: pray we get a small, but effective typhoon on our Wednesday, that way I won't have class, everyone will have off-time from work, and I can have more time to finish working on my Gothic architecture paper. :P

Isn't a typhoon like...a hurricane?

Yes, like a tropical cyclone.
