When I left, I thought I would no longer see it. I knew I would be compensated with what my new home would offer of the same thing, but I didn't expect to see it again...after a bit of soul searching.

Or store searching, accidentally.

I found my Ritter Sport bar, yummy German-made chocolat. They hid it in the Army post exchange candy section. They've never thought to stock it in our air force base exchange. The fools.

Anyway, I do have a fav brand of chocolate from local vendors, thus Japanese made. I don't remember acquiring any taste for something particularly American though. Belgian stuff rocks - this I honestly can attest to myself- but I can't remember any brand particulars.
